Matthew Lewis

Matt Lewis has been CEO and owner of ARL for 21 years. He founded ARL in 2000 to provide the highest level of service, professionalism, and value to the dietary supplement industry. Endeavoring to be a true partner to contract manufacturers, distributors, and marketing agencies, ARL was created to serve. This is its mission. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Brigham Young University. Initially, Matt’s goal was to enter medical School, following his wife's completion of law school. In the interim, he decided to start ARL as a third-party contract analytical laboratory. Matt’s calling became more apparent as ARL began to grow and succeed. At the end of the three-year hiatus, it did not make sense to abandon what he had created. ARL has since built an incredible team that shares Matt’s vision of service, one that elevates the value of “doing it right, on time, every time.” ARL’s success under Matt’s stewardship through the years has created partnerships across the industry and expanded across states, as we continue to follow Matt’s vision to build bridges of success for ARL’s clients and becoming game changers in the quality testing industry.

Jacob Teller

Jake is the Director of Quality at ARL. He directs the implementation and assurance of ARL’s quality systems across the labs. With over twelve years of experience working in the food, dietary supplement, and pharmaceutical industries, Jake holds diverse knowledge of GLP, cGMP, DEA, international regulations and ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accreditation. He started his career as an analyst working for a large nutraceutical company, which quickly led to laboratory management opportunities and eventually to his current role in quality management at ARL. Jake holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and certifications through the American Society of Quality for Internal Auditing. Jake’s expertise has allowed him to opportunities to expand ARL’s chain of laboratories across the United States and create a culture of quality that is engrained in everything we do at ARL.

Dylan is the Director of Lab Operations at ARL. His primary responsibilities include the evaluation and implementation of new technologies, markets, and methods, building the best team of analysts the world has ever seen, and getting you your results on time. Having earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Cal State University, San Marcos, and a master’s degree in analytical chemistry at the University of Utah, with a background as a pharmaceutical quality control chemist, Dylan is passionate about the accuracy, integrity and efficiency of the testing performed at ARL. Dylan spends his time out of the lab and office by being various Disney villains for his 3-year-old to defeat (occasionally being upgraded to animal sidekick), trying to cook the perfect steak, and attempting to convince his wife that chemistry is interesting, though no progress has been made.
